Since 1969, Dorsetware Ltd has been building experience, knowledge, know-how and expertise in the industry of metal finishing, electroplating and anodizing services. 45 years later and Dorsetware is one of the leading plating and metal finishing companies in the South West and the UK.

Our services have expanded over the years. A range of finishes are now available to suit any requirement, whether it is for the purpose of engineering and mechanics, or if it is just to change the appearance and visual aesthetics of products or goods.

Our wide array of metal finishes have a variety of features and properties that make them ideal for different applications. For example, bright acid tin plating is often used in the electronics industries because of tin’s ability to conduct electricity well and for its ability to be soldered. On the other hand, Dorsetware offers chrome plating which is primarily used as a decorative and visual finish on objects such as car parts.

You’ll find our metal finishing units in Poole in Dorset. Our facilities lies in Hamworthy, a small suburb within Poole where we’re able to carry out all of our metal finishings in an industrial park on Dawkins Road.
